My love for my home team River Plate

Hello my name is Nahuel. I'm from Las Vegas and I really love soccer. My favorite soccer team is River Plate. River Plate is a soccer club in Argentina and is very huge over there. I like to go out with my friends and play FIFA the video game and play soccer in real life as well. I live a simple life, I don't really do much, I am hoping to get through college smoothly without any problems.

My topic that I chose was Malware Protection on Windows. The reason I picked this was because I thought it was an interesting topic to choose it's a thing I would like to know more about for sure. From my teacher, I hope to get clear instructions and helpful feedback so I know what is expected of me. I want to feel comfortable asking questions when I do not understand something. My teacher supports me throughout this course and helps me stay motivated to do my best in this class. And from my classmates, I feel supported every time I walk in this class and feel not judged when coming here. I believe working together will make the class better and help everyone succeed.

Through out my day to day life, I have been trying to be more consistent with my work ethic in the gym trying to take the gym more seriously and life in general, trying to set up for my future in life not just for me but for my future family so they can be secure throughout there whole life not just with money but with health too.

  2. Nahuel, I am going to be honest, I actually hate exercising. The only reason I am consistent right now is because it is part of the agreement with the medication I am taking, I am on an experimental GLP 1 agonist, a drug like Ozempic, and they strongly recommend regular exercise with it. So even if I do not feel like it, I push myself to do at least 45 minutes a day, three times a week. Some weeks I really do not want to go at all, even twice feels like a struggle. You seem to have that natural work ethic when it comes to the gym, and I respect that because for me it feels like a chore more than a hobby.

When you mentioned setting yourself up financially for the future, I also thought about health, because if you are constantly sick, most of your savings will disappear into ER visits and medications. I already spent over 1,600 dollars just on ER fees, and that alone was a wake up call. Taking care of your body is not just about looking good or lifting heavier weights, it is also about protecting your future financially and physically. Even though I complain about the gym, I know deep down it is something I need to do, not just for now, but long term.

  3. It is good to have an idea about malware protection that windows has. Contrary to popular belief that you need different virus protection apps for your computer, windows security is powerful enough to quarantine those malwares. Interesting background choice too!

  4. Hi Nahuel, it’s nice to see that you already have clear goals for your future and that you include both family and health as part of those goals. I also think the topic you chose about malware protection on Windows is very useful because understanding how to protect our computers from viruses and other threats is something everyone should know today. It’s also great that you feel supported and comfortable in the class with both the professor and your classmates, because that kind of environment really helps people learn and ask questions without feeling judged.

The topic you chose about malware protection on Windows is also a useful one, since learning how to protect computers from viruses and other threats is something everyone can benefit from. It’s good that you’re also focusing on improving your work ethic and staying consistent with the gym and your goals for the future. Keeping that mindset will definitely help you succeed in college and beyond.

  7. Hello Nahuel, I used to play soccer as a kid but I was never any good at it! I like playing sports better than following teams or watching games, so I'm not really familiar with sports teams in general. Malware protection isn't something I know much about, I just look up advice for stuff like that on the internet and weigh the pros and cons of each option. Being health conscious is a very smart idea, it reminds me that I need to fix my diet. I hope the rest of the semester goes smoothly for you!

  8. Hi Nahuel! That’s really cool that you’re so passionate about soccer and that River Plate is your favorite team. It’s always fun to have friends who share the same interests. I also think consistency is very important in life, It’s something we have to keep working on, even if it’s not always easy.

  9. Hey Nahuel! Something that stood out to me in regards to FIFA is the soundtrack, I'm sure you can relate as well!
Malware protection is a great topic too! I used to exclusively use third party malware protection, without realizing the pre-installed Windows Defender is a great choice on it's own!
Looking forward to working with you!
    Best,
    Rafa

  10. It is good that you have an interest in malware protection. I also think it is important topic to know how to use it. I sometimes get messages from McAfee that I may have malware on my computer. We can prevent malware with knowledge on how to protect our devices from it.

  14. Hi Nahuel, I hope Argentina has gotten better since the wildfires it's really sad, I think we know why, but I don't want to get into politics. Any device needs some sort of shield and protection from harmful instances of viruses, worms or much more! I'm glad you informed me on that!

  15. Hello Nahuel, I used to play soccer growing up and stopped because of the Covid shutdown. We have the same goal of being stable financially in the future and being healthy. Love that. Good luck with your college degree!
